Thanks. First time I've seen it flower (it threw it down last year and destroyed the flowers), well worth the wait.

Yes the heavy rain does destroy them next year you could get a thickish wire support it might help it.

I've got a peony frame around them this year which has helped.

The woman selling peonies at the rare plant show last year said she covers hers with golfing umbrellas when heavy rain is forecast!

Thats a great idea I ll have to pinch my twin sisters they go golfing.
