Asilbe from Siris

The only one I have which is red is Fanal, but mine has much more compact flower spikes, but it is not in moist soil. All my Astilbes are showing the promise of flowers, including your white, but not out yet.

Nice colour not seen this colour before.

Homebird, 2 days on and it's flowering, much looser this year, maybe due to all the rain we've had.

I agree Hb, and that warm spell in April, but those high winds did for many flower heads recently.

Good that the rain storm has veered northwards, missing the South as I would like to go to a plant Festival at Stansted Park today.

Unusual shade lovers mostly. Looked up who sold what at their nurseries, then made a beeline for certain nurseries.
