Lilac Dierama (Dierama pulcherrimum (Angel's fishing rod))

First to flower this year, seed from my red one which I divided last year as so congested not flowering well. It will be a while before the red settles down again.

Amy, it's only in the last week the Dierama buds have appeared, followed rapidly by these flowers. Doesn't sound good for the Tropaeolum, unfortunately.
Thanks 3pb, but I will have to be patient.

Patient but some thing to look forward to.

They take as long to flower again if moved (providing they don't die) as to flower from seed. Corms which stack one on top of the previous years spent corms.

What else?

See who else is growing Dierama pulcherrimum (Angel's fishing rod).

See who else has plants in genus Dierama.
