Ahh! hope you've no tasty plants near by.

Well captured my nan owned businesses in Bristol years ago one was a cafe by the docks she would send my mum as a kid out to collect them off the walls around Bristol nan would cook and sell them to the French sailors for a penny each.

Lol Waddy the French think they are tastie.

LOL I have no intentions of eating them, I'm Irish.

I think the ones the french eat are a different variety. I've tasted them on more than one occasion...with garlic butter and crusty bread, yummy!

They are the same Waddy you just have to ensure they have nt eaten slug pellets or foxglove .

Lol make sure you keep them for a month or two first and feed them your self to make sure .

Lol! My OH is going to think I've completely lost my marbles if I start keeping and feeding snails!!

They make good money if you feed them up and sell them to the French your OH would nt think your mad then if he got a new car out of it now would he lol

That might take an awful lot of snails lol!!

Lol I suppose it would a bloke on the tv once discovered the value of them so started breeding them and selling them to the French.

I don't think I'm likely to live long enough to make enough for a Series 3 Land Rover, because that's what he'd want!
