This persistent daylily refuses to go. It's trying to seduce me with these flawless flowers. I finally gave up the fight. They shall one day adorn my grave, lol! It's tough as nails and could most likely survive a nuclear apocalypse.

Only because of it's invasive nature. It does not respect boundaries. It's ubiquitous - one plant turns into 5 very quickly. Also, in the world of manicured gardens I live in here on Long Island, and so much ado about nothing, it carries a stigma of "the lesser class" to have these in your garden. Some people actually get shunned. This plant is impossible to rein in. It's resistant to every disease & pathogen out there.

Ahrr so it is invasive now I can understand why you want it gone I would not care what others thought thats snobbery but being invasive I would want it out to. I would just keep digging deep and keep pulling ever tiny bit you see out.
