Cosmos for Gnarly gnome

Is this Cosmos 'Xanthos' ? I grew it from seed and was disappointed to find it more cream than the yellow I was hoping for! A shorter variety than most.

Yes it must be as when looking it up by the colouring and my picture it looks the same it is nt a deep yellow perhaps thats what you expected ? Thank you for letting me know its shorter .

The photo on the seed packet showed it as a lovely bright lemon colour ... wasn't like that at all ... :o(

That s terrible all that sowing and you did nt even get the correct colour which was shown . Was the colour like this photo.

I have just looked at images of Xanthos and they all look a very soft yellow ... very like your photo really. I shall stick with the deep pink and/or white ones I think!

They had burgandy ones today on the market. Yes stick to what you know.
