Thank you all. Dogs trampled it last year so never saw it. Thanks for warning Waddy, just looked it up and saw warning but does say that when it spreads, just to pull up bulbs, sounded easy, bet its not :-). Since I'm on a buying more plant ban :-), it's a free plant and got so many bare spots.

It is easy to pull up as long as you do it regularly and dont wait until its a 3' clump!

I had some of the orange variety and needed to get rid of it so just pulled it up. I got most of it, except for the odd bit. If I see any signs now I treat them as weeds :-)

Hubby has already decided where he would like them moved to lol. If he had his way, he would let them take over but I'll keep a close eye one them. We had the orange ones in last garden. Trouble with hubby is he has old favourite plants and it's trying to get him to try new ones. If he had his way my garden would be filled with these, primroses, foxgloves and the tall phlox :-).

I have to keep saying no Waddy to him, we need some summer colour, not just spring colour. I forgot, rhododendrons as well, he would fill the garden with them as well :-)

Ah, now my other half wouldn't as he's had the job in the past, when he was working to clear whole areas of the things as they'd taken over and smothered everything else, so he knows how invasive they can be....he likes lupins though :)

I like Lupins as well, got them growing in this garden, planted them this year. Remind me of my father, he always grew Lupins.
