Last year for the first time it was covered in mildew on this so I cut it all back.

Yes I have this done with any plant if I see it has some thing wrong with it I call it the Chelsea chop lol

looking good , try and keep well watered that should stop it getting mildew, water the soil NOT the leaves ... if you see it starting you can spray with diluted milk works a treat ...

Thank you for the instructions it needs moving really as its by the pavement dry soil and right next to my climbing rose.

That a pretty one, I planted quite a few phlox this year so they are looking a bit silly as only have one or two storks but should be much better next year, fingers crossed :-).
