R. Therese Bugnet...again, or is it R. DeL'Hay?

Cut back hard last fall it's taken longer to bloom this summer but it's covered with them... can't wait til it gets going.

Yes, it surely does, Karen. It may explain something that has confused me for some time. I bought the R.T.B. back in 2006 (I think) from a small nursery in Summerstown, On. I think it may have been de L'Hay, or it reverted to d'LHay rootstock..because the rose I had was pink, not this de L'Hay purple pink. when we moved to this garden in 2010 I bought a replacement because the rose in the town garden was so thorny. Not an easy plant to move. The replacement was the purple pink de L'Hay... and it's done well... in 2013 I bought another rose (labelled RTB), and planted it at the other end of the transfer bed. This rose has finer canes, fewer spines, and pink blooms, like the pictured R.Therese Bugnet, developed for Swedish interests, in Canada in the 1940's by Georges Bugnet and named for his daughter. The R.Therese Bugnet seems to revert very easily. I really am not worried about whether it's TB or DLH... I love it. But thanks for the tip. I took a look at the DLH site and I'm going back to marinate in it... LOL>..
