Yup, it smelt absolutely foul!
The spathe was about 50cm long.

I believe it my little one smelt awful , I didn't know where the smell was coming from at first ...

Tis a good job that the stench only lasts for a day at most! Still a must have plant though.

I agree meanie. I put the spathe in a poly bag this year, the day it was at its worst. Pity its a spectacular head. The stems are interestingly speckled too, which makes it worth growing anyway.

I must be a bit odd because I get a perverse pleasure from the stench!!
