Celadine.

Celadine. (Plumeria rubra (Atabaiba Rosada))

For a few years I had two different "Celadine" Plumeria's..one had duller leaves and slightly smaller flowers. I decided that this one with larger glossy leaves and blooms should be in its own pot again ( it was for years before I added the second). That involved some tricky pulling them apart.
Now,it seems like that spring dividing is wearing off and mom Celadine is in leaf, soon in bloom. And has a half pot of all new potting soils to root into.

I once tried planting this..but I allowed grasses and some succulents to grow right at the base. They I think now, kept the soil too wet and chilled in winter.
If you look close- you can see where it had died to just three stems. I had to bring it indoors the next summer as Penny,it had NO roots..not one. It was a big cutting. That was five years ago and its just caught up to the size it was when I planted it.
Plants can span more years of your life...time flies.

What a shame Stan at least your wiser now I can't believe it had no roots yet has come back a magic plant lol. At least now you have cared for it by bringing it in its rewarded you wonderfully so far . We will have to find their secret of living so long and pinch a bit for our selves lol.

Five years indoors and it would be 3' or more larger by now. But,it would never bloom.

Its ready to bloom soon. I thought the dividing might set it back..but no,its risen to the occasion-lol.
I tossed some fertilizer on it last week..I see its juuuust kicking in with nice large leaves.
It will never be a tree or even a shrub..just a nice potted plant.

Thats great they do say feed when coming into flower so the fertilizer is helping.
