Both my parents are Welsh dad was from Pontypool both come here for work during ww2 mum use to cook it for us 7 kids so yes here we call it stew a soup to the English is just like a smooth juice lamb with vegetables we call it a stew here. My mum and eldest daughter both suffer with their thyroid to the point if not treated would die it runs in the family.
