Thank you. I remember the first Mango tree I ever grew had a couple of fruit on a spindly tree. I thought it was the greatest even in the world. I sort of raise the bar now compared to 2006. THAT tree was killed in 2007.a very cold winter.
This tree was bought in 2010 or 2011 kept in a pot until 2013..then after it too took a freeze that ( didnt kill it) cut it back from 6' to 2'. Everything now is new growth since 2013.
Marginal to say the least...but at this point, should we have a predicted freeze or in a row of them,I would cover and heat.
Running out of years to waste!

Thats a shame you lost your first one Stan.
This one has done really good then especially cutting it back so much.
How we try and protect ours from frost here especially in pots is to either brake up bits of polystyrene place some at the bottom of the pot and around the sides when planting or cover the top of the pot with lots of leaves in the fall.
