Cactus Euphorbia trigona "African Milk Tree"

Have to wrap it in a quilt to move it... it's about 7 ft. tall. planted in "cactus soil" with elephant's foot palm...and epi cactus at the base.

Yes, 3d, it's a bit tricky getting it out the door onto the deck for the summer...hence wrapping it in a quilt! It's quite heavy also. It's not staked but I have to be very careful it doesn't lapse sideways and split. the Beaucarnea recurvata (ponytail palm) is tall enough that it helps stabilize. It's in a 5 gal. pot and will need repotting soon as it has been in this pot almost 2 yrs. now. none of the plants are prima donnas and they seem to do well together. When it was given to me it was 3ft. tall and in a 6 inch pot! It's doubled it's height in two and a half years.

all three plants amaze me in that they live most of the year in a small porch where the light is not especially bright and it's cool all winter long. it's three months outside...9 inside... doesn't seem to bother them!
