I have this it flowers in the spring waddy so we both have the same "Caprifoliaceae " , I think Paul's is roseum which starts flowers now July ...
BUT both fall under the same name Viburnum Opalus (Snowball Bush)

Thanks for the explanation Gg. These flowers hang on until next spring, turning red in the fall, and brown in the winter. Does that happen to yours as well? I'd love to see a picture of yours. Thanks

No with mine they flower and then all the petals fall and you are left with a dead bit of twig !!!

Mine flower then die but the flower heads remain on the tree all brown and dead. The leaves remain until autumn.

I have this one Paul, but mine flowered much earlier in the year.
