Red Admirals on Rudbeckia

Yesterday, while I was going around the garden dead heading saw 5 Red Admirals on the Rudbeckia. Here are 2 of them.

Lol, Waddy, sure you will find a place :-). Grew these from seeds. Ended up with far too many of them lol. These are Rustic Dwarf. It was a cheap way to add lots of colour this year since I suffer the other way. Had tons of gaps from all the weeds I took out. :-)

Lol, what a surprise :-). Yes they are. Will have to thin them out as I what to try growing other flowers from seed next year. Just ordered some seed catalogues to give me some ideas. Hubby in bad books though, one clump is in border by his back door to workshop and yesterday he was playing ball with dogs. Rather then go onto lawn, he stood by the workshop and threw the ball straight over the border. Shadow, who was standing next to him, then went straight through all the plants, smashing them to bit. I was not a happy bunny.

The butterflies do love them don't they? Just bought a Rudbekia Goldstrum, though goodness knows where I'm going to put it lol!
