I can find no reference anywhere to the autumn colouring of this bush, but it does the same thing every year.

Andrew, I read this in Dr. Hessayon's tree & shrub expert book:
The beauty of this bush is seen in the autumn. The leaves will have turned red or violet, and when they fall the polished purple berries are revealed on the bare stems.
