I bought it from a market stall in 2012 and it flowered in April 2013,much more than this. The photo is on this site.
It hasn't flowered since then.
A week before the show it was flowering away but then the sun went and it just had nice plump buds on show day.
I think it should flower anytime from Winter into Spring.

I looked this one up too. According to the Pacific Bulb Society the older crowns can die off after flowering. Is it evergreen or does it die back underground after flowering?

I read that too SG,so hopefully it will start to buld up again. It is evergreen and the foliage stays nice and fresh, although I don't know how that works with the crowns dying off.

They also said propagation is from seed or by division of dormant crowns. If it is evergreen "dormant" must mean after flowers have died down. I wonder if the plant you bought had been sold when it was ready to produce flowers, if so the old crowns might have died off and it has taken the young new crowns time to build up to flowering size. Some of the saxifrages do that I think. It is a lovely flower.
