Mahonia nervosa - 2018

This dwarf mahonia has been sitting underneath next door's conifer in bone dry soil for over ten years. It is now getting a little more light and is flowering for the first time. Grows to a couple of feet in height, spreading very slowly by stolons at, or just below, the soil surface.
