I am thrilled with it. I bought it about 4 years ago and the poor thing has been shifted around, never really getting a chance....this is the first time it has flowered!!

Thats great it the first its flowered looks like more to come. They like the sun on the thick bottom part for it to flower you have to split them to least they wont flower so good Siris could tell you she has lots .

This is the first iris I ever owned. It is a beautiful colour. It was in the garden when we bought the house. It eventually spread but then went in to a decline. I still have one plant but as 3d says it needs the sun on the rhizome and mine has gradually been overtaken by perennial geraniums. I will need to move it. Yours seems to be happy in its position.

It’s now in a very sunny spot and I’m hoping for more next year. I will have to read up on them as I’ve never really grown them properly before. I think I have a new favourite plant now!!! Hahaha
