According to the botanists, this is not a rose. It has been bred from hulthemia persica (originally rosa persica) which has a yellow flower with a central red blotch. Although one or two roses with this feature are now appearing on the market, it has proved incredibly difficult for the rose breeders cross R. persica with any other rose to get this feature.
