Rhodo with weigela buds..

How quickly everything changes Lori! We have had three whole weeks of almost unbroken sunshine here now. Its quite incredible. The garden has caught up after the freezing winter. Sadly still no swallows though. But from what friends tell me, there are plenty in other parts of Scotland. I don’t know what’s happened to ours. :(

I am amazed at how similar our weather has been... everything turned around in early May and we've had temps in the 30's C. Things have just changed again.. We had a lovely thunderstorm and now the temps are moderate with a cold north wind...????
Hope your swallows return...very few butterflies this year but our robins are back...and of course the blood sucking insects and the tree killing caterpillars are thriving.
