Look at your wonderful baskets! I have never had a decent hanging basket...ever. I either forget to water, or the wind and rain destroy them like last year. I’ve given up now.

What a shame. We had 45 mile winds here on the Pennines, on Thursday, but thankfully the baskets and plants survived. I water them every day, except if it has rained, and I feed them every two weeks. The feeding makes a massive difference and the plants look healthy and really double in size?

Yeah...I think the winds here are my main enemy where baskets are concerned. We has 63mph here and I spent two days wrapping everything in fleece and staking. Took me all of yesterday to get it all back to normal. Didnt lose too much though...phew!
