Beautiful golden pink

Sunny morning in spring. But then I went to plant some bulbs so wanted to take some of this out and just keep a little but move it back nearer the fence, and found out the root had gone bananas and was difficult, so I took the decision to remove it completely.
It might grow back still but no sign of it so far. Next spring will probably be the teller.
What should appear now in the same space is a mix of lupins, red hot pokers and nerines. And they should be more controllable.
It was pretty foliage though in springtime in the sunshine.
