Survived its first winter outdoors (in a sheltered spot) with flying colours!

Lori - we saw close to -8°c last winter so up against the house wall it was a few degrees warmer. I'd say that it is hardy down to -3 or 4°c for sure so if a shed can offer you that it is a nice pot specimen for the patio etc. Blooms all summer long and deep into autumn.
DD - I wasn't actually. My sister has one that I gave her years ago and it has survived her muppet care!

I like creepers... That looks amazing, also have a special spot in my heart for blue flowers. It sounds like it's too tender for my zone 4 garden, though. I have Virginia Creeper growing wild along the edges of the forest and I'm coddling a little patch of vinca minor. lysimachia is running wild, just bought some more lamium, Japanese spurge, etc. will have to give this a look-up. interesting!
