aka butterfly milkweed - Native to my area, this perennial 'weed' is host plant & food source for the Monarch Butterfly.

It's not an easy plant to propagate & they can't be moved once planted. Once established, however, they are relatively trouble free.

To say they are a weed, they're pretty fussy.

I've tried growing this from seed, without success I'm afraid.
