Oleander

I have always thought of this as a freeway plant. They planted these along the sides of the freeways in the San Francisco Bay area back in the 60's.

Yes they did I recall Delonix or Stan mentioning it thank you Wylie I have two cuttings from this one.

I think this is possibly Oleander!! tried to grow it without much success!! although neighbours along the road near the sea have an enormous shrub...

Thank you Dottydaisy how odd yours did nt succeed yet your neighbour further along did it is definitely Orlando as it belongs to a lad that has tained to be horticulturalist he runs the garden centre next to the cafe its stand by.

3pence......sorry to disagree with you, but that is definitely an Oleander, there is no such plant as Orlando, my OH agrees with me, and the RHS plant finder, I may not be good on some things, but I know my plants......lol!! look on the internet!
