Taken at 7.16am on 21st June 2018, this shot shows the extent to which our garden is dominated by the enormous building opposite. The sun will pass behind this building for a couple of hours then climb high enough to bathe the garden in full sun for a few more hours, while shade lengthens along with the day until it is plunged into full shade by about 5pm on the longest day. A garden of extremes. But we have four lovely silver birches to enjoy, as well as the creeper which clothes the building, so every cloud...
