Difficult to keep (Liatris) like wet in summer but dry in winter!

Ahhh sandy soil would be fine ours is fairly heavy, lose a lot of plants due to the wet!

I didn't know that. Mine seems to be fine, tho' I do water it & I'm afraid it just gets forgotten about in winter, it's in sandy soil tho' so never waterlogged.
