Planted this little tree with a hosta 2 yrs ago. The tree is from an acorn from the ancient oaks up the hill. It was completely defoliate by army worms this spring.. extra vigilance and water during this drought has brought out new leaves. I'm celebrating!

Oh! Well done Lori. You have triumphed over adversity! The hedges here are beginning to recover from the worms too.
