It's Arisaema altrorubens, Penny. or Jack-In-The-Pulpit. The seeds will ripen to a brilliant red. I pick the seed pod and let the seeds dry. They require some cold time and a week in the refrigerator will do that. They like the forest margin, in semi to full shade with soil a bit on the acid side. (one of my GoY friends had one in her garden from seeds I sent to her about 2 yrs back.)
