Hibiscus 'Cosmic Dancer'

I posted a photo of this in August, but what makes this one different is that I brought it to flower using grow lights. This is only the first year I have had this, and the root system isn't the strongest, yet. I didn't want it getting ripped out by the winds, so I brought it inside and placed grow lights around it. Now there is a flower and another one forming.

It should have another flower open soon. I have it in a sunny, but protected area.

They are more cold sensitive. It depends too on outdoors in pot vs outdoors and in ground for the highly developed cultivars. Around town in summer I've spotted some that are shrubs..my own (Bahia something) in a pot only squeaks by every winter. Dropping leaves and dies back. Still alive though to grow some. But,it's a close call Wylie!
