Cactus for Hywel!!

At least they have grown a lovely present. I had one behind net curtains facing West in my bedroom I never thought it would flower but it did my grand daughter has it now.

Just wondering how much taller it's going to grow 3pence?

I have seen these at car boots taller that your tallest one. Do you feed it.

The smaller one is difficult to see. It could be a monstrosa form of Cereus Peruvians ? maybe ...

The tall one I think is Pilocereus chrysostele.

I don't think either of them will flower in 'captivity' .
The best ones for flowering are the smaller species like Rebutia, Parodia, Echinopsis etc.
They are both very nice though :)

Thanks Hywel for all the information....I had a feeling they would never flower!

My OH feeds it in the Summer, I think I will give it to our grandson!!!!!
