For Siris (Narcissus)

The foliage of narcissus 'Toto' is not so obvious when seen from a distance

Agreed, what have you got growing between Toto, Hemerocallis? Thought you weren't that keen on those.

Yes, yellow-flowered ones. I'm currently trying to grow a rare species rose from seed - if successful, it will replace the hemerocallis. The soil in this part of the garden is heavy clay and south-facing, but the daylilies seem quite happy there

Good luck with that Rose, Andrew. I hope if you get it germinated it will provide loads of flowers!

It's one I saw on my trip to Kazakhstan and I was very taken with it. It seemed to flower from an early age, and mature specimens were covered in blooms

I'll have to look back at your blog then, Andrew.

Thanks Andrew, good job you put the link in as I'd already looked at all your Kazakhstan pics and missed the Rose, didn't expect to see a yellow, hope it does well for you.
