Moisture loving perennial. The flower is already starting to appear as this plant pushes above the soil and eventually sits atop a six inch stem

Sue - I've optimised the planting in my pond for this year.
I decided that having too many different plant families made it look cluttered and disjointed, so I've reduced it to primulas, a few varieties of houttuynia, some smaller calthas and trollius, a couple of small gunera, and a pot of phalaris arundinacea 'Picta' (Gardener's garters) at three of the corners

Having seen your P. denticulata growing in your pond margins, I'm in the process of creating a plastic lined moisture area for Primulas. Orange P. florindae just germination.
