People actually grow these outdoors here, in protected and shady areas. I know one front yard that has a mass of orchids growing under a tree.

We can only grow the wild orchids outside but I do put the indoor ones out side in summer. Your very lucky to be able to grow orchids out side.

Dendrobium in the "Comet" family. A beauty. Like with Wylie they can be grown outdoors here. I have one and it's tricky,not an easy grow. In bud.

Thank you Stan. You to are lucky to be able to grow Orchids out side. They say to put pebbles in a dish with water and sit the Orchids on top as they love humidity.
