Abutilon megapotanicum - 2019 (Abutilon megapotamicum)

Lax shrub to six feet, best tied in to a support, requiring full sun and a well-drained soil. Flowers right through mild winters but killed back to ground level by cold ones, although it will grow back if well established

Andrew, I just received a plant catalogue from Hayloft with Abutilon Kentish Belle on sale at £14 ... tempted to buy!

Shirley - megapotanicum is one of the parents of 'Kentish Belle' but is hardier than the hybrid. Burncoose sell megapotanicum

Ours eventually died, it was the variegated one, slightly more tender!!
