Peony and Cammasia

I am thrilled because I have buds on every one of my lactiflora paeonies for the first time ever. Some have been in for five years and have never flowered before!

That's great Karen, could it be due to last summer's heat or a case of having to wait the 5 years.

Yes! Probably the warmth helped because they do like the sun at their roots like Iris.

Makes sense then, the iris have certainly benefitted from last summers baking

That's exciting. I love the size of them... mine are only emerging and I'm not seeing buds. Love the cammasia. I must find some of those too. It's native to NA so I should be able to grow it, right? there's probably something living here abouts which eats it! lol..
