Scilla hyacinthoides - 2019 (Scilla hyacinthoides)

A native of the Middle East, this bulb needs a poor, well-drained soil in full sun; rich soils encourage leaves at the expense of flowers. You get a lot of basal foliage from which stems about two and half feet high spring up, carrying the flowers
