My Chilean potato bush/vine growing well over my pergola. Trying to encourage it to grow right over, but it likes to try to reach the sky!!
Lovely semi evergreen leaves with large clusters of fragrant purple blue flowers with yellow stamens.
Looks nice in the sunshine.

Thanks Julia, thanks Karen. The Chilean potato is my OH’s favourite plant in the garden. He says it’s due to the longevity of the flowering period.

What else?
See who else is growing Solanum crispum (Chilean potato tree).
See who else has plants in genus Solanum.

Just what I was going to say Julia! Beautiful with the Choisya underneath. Really lights it up.i love this plant, but sadly my garden is too exposed for it. Hey, you can’t have it all! :)
