Another photo from a few weeks ago. I has been in bloom since late January and is overwintered in a cool greenhouse.

Nah, I just shoved it outdoors next to the wall!!! It had to come in when it got frosty though.

Well, it's a winter bloomer in its native Brazil!

Belive it or not it is a cousin of Acanthus!
