This old cultivar does not carry many flowers, but the colour makes it worthwhile growing it in my opinion

Lori - good luck with finding a supplier. No-one here in the UK is selling it this year. I got mine from a friend when she divided her mature clump a few years ago

I had to go looking for the common water iris (pseudacorus) three years ago when I wanted to put it in my stream ...took a while, but there is a good supplier somewhere in Eastern Ontario because the local nursery were reasonbly quick getting back to me. ... will see if I can find it. thanks for the info.

Lovely! That strong blue is fabulous. I think I'll add that to my collection.
Something ate most of a clump of Siberians in the stream beds... I have one sad little bloom. how things can change from one year to the next!
