Verbascum chaixii f. album - 2019

I've been picking off Mullem Moth Caterpilars from mine. It seems to grow an extra flower spike each year. Going to be six this year, excluding the small side shoots.

I had the caterpillars this year but only on one plant

Cut down to just the one plant, roots are so wide ranging.

That's lovely not a sign of mine flowering.

Used to have one come up every year, then the last couple of years nothing!!

DD - for several years these did not self seed, but now I'm having to remove excess seedlings

That's due to weather conditions? or?

Possibly hotter/drier summers I think
