Yes they did Hywel my mum always bought their plants. It's nice to know you still have some of their roses I bought this on in the eighties.

Lol Hywel the days before other supermarkets sold lant ad I don't recall any garden centres back then. x

No there weren't any as I remember you could only get plants in Woolworth or a florist. I remember the first time I saw a garden centre, it was near Hereford. I thought it was posh because it was in England lol

😂 Well it would look posh in Herford Hywel that is where my daughter in law came from her parents owned the Pitza place and a house in the town her god parent was the Mayoress of Hereford and her mother's friend Peggy owned the M1 cafes also a pub her son now owns there my daughter in law went to the cathedral school there and she talks posh 😊 my cousin he use to live there too now he has moved to Ludlow. My other cousin millionaire was going out with the manager of Hereford City football she lives in Thame Oxford.

Woolworth had a good garden dep. I always bought roses from there and still have some of them.
