Golden hop......

It looks fabulous ,we had to crop ours to the ground in our previous garden ..

This is growing up a a very large obelisk it has been in the ground now for a good few many years, and we do cut it back every spring to keep it under control .....but I would not like to be without it as it is a very good splash of colour.

Actually that has given me an idea for an empty obelisk we have .. :o))

Amy - if you find the variety 'Golden Tassels', it is less vigorous than the species and possibly more suitable for an obelisk
