Collomia grandiflora - 2019

This has popped up at 'Devonia' this year. I posted a photo on Facebook and it has been identified as collomia grandiflora, an annual. Bob Brown of Cotswold Garden Flowers describes it as "incontinent." I'm guessing someone in the area grew it last year and a seed "arrived"

This is the very same plant, arrived from nowhere, it has just started to get its red stems!! will wait until it flowers, then remove it!

Isn't it funny how some plant pops up everywhere on social media one year and then disappears again? It's often the shoo fly plant, but this year it seems to be this one

It chose you Andrew. looks like your plant has a great potential to seed! Too bad it flowers from the top down as it looks like it has the potential to put on quite a show. Since it's "incontinent" will you keep it?
