how is it for foliage? most of the pretty hybrids don't produce much in the way of leaves... I like the orange specie for that reason... lots of lovely leaves. I have a mini variety that I got at a plant swap...it's taken years for it to bulk up but always just leaves and no flower scapes.

The leaves are OK, very much like the native orange one. It must have been used to produce this one. The leaves stay fresh & clean until frost.

It really is a cracker. love that clean red. very handsome.

Yes not often you see black. Black & Red - always a winner in my book. Thanks
