Short-lived at the best of times, I've not succeeded in getting Blackadder through a winter before. Sun and well-drained soil

One of my favourites , Andrew I had a patch of them before we moved and never had a problem with keeping them through the winter ,I didn't protect them either, I didn't give it a thought its a wonder I didn't lose them all ...
