I had a matchbox toy of one of these aswell and I've still got it lol : )

A wonderful machine. It got stuck in the mud and they had to put some straw down, it moved off ok then.
Must admit i rather like steam, i like steam trains as well :-)

Oh ! I remember steam trains : ) They bring back lots of happy memories :D Lots and Lots :D

While Stan has been working with the Begonias and showing me what's what, he's told me about his father being an engine driver. I'm afraid i don't remember them on the main lines, I've only been on steam trains like The Severn Valley Railway. Sometimes a steam train will go on the main line, but i don't really know when so haven't seen one. Sometimes i've been to steam ralley's where they have all sorts of steam engines, it's some time since i last went to one though.
