Now I've looked at pics of the adult moth it's coming back to me that I snapped it before last year.

You are very good with the camera. Did you see my dragonfly?

I was disappointed I didn't get the caterpillar's face in focus but the fly screen was flapping in the wind...
Saw your dragonfly & really liked it!
I guess with the camera I'm getting to the point in my learning where it's just a tool to get the picture. It's an ongoing process...
With digital Photography I'd say Photoshop type skills take the basic photos up though?

Yes, I use PhotoShop for everything. It's the best program around that I can think of.

yes that is a cinnabar moth caterpillar, a decent photo too. the adult is so pretty too.
I know the screen was flapping but consider increasing your depth of field, then you'll get greater definition with obviously more in focus. Then what you can do with Photo shop is more satisfying. though I haven't used it except to crop and reduce the size of the photo for posting on here.

😄 Thanks Seaburn! Hoped you'd appreciate it. The moth was one of the first pics I posted last year, thought it looked like a caped crusader. I'm pleased that I got a year-on development from the weedy garden where species might establish
